When choosing the cremation urn size, generally you'll need an urn with at least one cubic inch of volume for every healthy pound of body weight prior to cremation. For example, if the deceased had a healthy weight of 150 pounds before cremation, you will need an Urn Volume that is at least 150 cubic inches or larger.
All of our urn sizes can serve as human or pet urns.

Large Sized Adults Cremation Urns are made with sufficient volume to hold all the ashes of an adult individual. The average body creates 1 cubic inch of ash for each pound of healthy body weight. Adult urns have a volume of 100 - 300 cubic inches.

Medium Sized Keepsake Cremation Urns are made with sufficient volume to hold all or a portion of the cremains of an adult individual, a child, or a pet. Keepsake urns have a volume of 25 - 100 cubic inches, providing 1 cubic inch for each pound of healthy body weight.
